Some of you may have noticed that Noir By Night suddenly disappeared last week.  I want you all to know that this was NOT my doing.  My Tumblr account was terminated without warning or prior notice on Friday, November 10, 2017.  I only this found out when I tried to login and add images to my queue.  My account was just restored today, with the explanation that Tumblr had located “suspicious activity”.  They have not descibed what type of activity they found which would cause them to unilaterally shut down my account.

I just want you all to know that, because of the way Tumblr chose to handle this situation, I must scale back my blogging activities considerably.   Much as I appreciate my followers, and as much as I enjoy blogging, I cannot invest such time and effort into my blogs when I know they can be shut off instantly without warning, and without Tumblr at least contacting me first to warn me of a potential problem.
