Mike’s Hot Dogs, Schenectady, New York, its neon looking pretty nice at dusk, July 21, 2017.  We were on our way home from Ballston Spa, having just adopted a dog from Mountain Rottie Rescue of NY.  In the excitement of the “meet & greet” involving our own two excited Rotts, we had neglected to eat.  This place was like an answer to prayer.  I asked for whatever the specialty of the house was, frankfurter-wise.  It turned out to be a couple of dogs with Mike’s signature meat sauce–quite good.
