While at Pratt in the Early 1980s
Here are three shots I took as a photography student at Pratt Institute in 1983.
The first image was made in an alley just off Myrtle Avenue. I heard a wag call it “Murder Avenue” once and the name stuck. I believe the second image was made on The GG train (now simply the G) and shows how the cars were filled with graffiti during that time. And the final shot was taken in Manhattan, I believe down near the subway (6th Avenue lines) under Rockefeller Center. I was into a combination flash/blur effect right around then.
